Fundraiser • A soup dinner and silent auction to aid Eric Heithoff is planned Saturday in Orchard. Heithoff is diagnosed with acute leukemia. Members of the Heithoff family include Brian, Emily, Robin and Eric.
A silent auction and soup dinner for Eric Heithoff, of Elgin, will be held Saturday, Jan. 16, at the Rex Theatre, in Orchard.
Serving will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. Free-will donations will be accepted.
Heithoff is diagnosed with acute leukemia and recently underwent a stem cell transplant at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
He is the husband of Summerland - Orchard music instructor, Emily Heithoff.
