Lady Cats drop two matches

Summerland’s Lady Bobcat volleyball teams falls to 11-5 on the season following two losses last week.

On Tuesday, O’Neill claimed a three-set win in Clearwater.

The Eagles won the first set, 25-19, while Summerland eked out a 25-21 victory in set two. The Eagles rebounded with a 25-21 score in set three.

Brenna Wagner landed 12 kills in the match. Avery Cheatum led the team defensively with 21 digs.

On Sept. 24, Summerland traveled to Humphrey for a match against Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family.

H/LHF swept the Cats, with scores of 25-9, 25-20 and 25-11.

Wagner finished with seven kills and 13 digs. Ady Mlnarik added 13 set assists.
