Something for everyone planned at Page celebration

Family fun is on tap for Saturday’s Page community day celebration.

The Fredrick Cronk Memorial trap shoot will start the day’s events, at 9 a.m.

A horseshoe tournament, scheduled for 10 a.m., will be held in Lamason Park.

Burgers and hot dogs will be available between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Kids are invited to decorate their bicycles and show them off during the kids’ bike show. The event will begin at 1 p.m.

Free watermelon will be served at Lamason Park at 1 p.m.

Members of the Page Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department will showcase their skills during the water fight, set to begin at 1:30.

A kids’ water run will follow.

Three events are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.

Dads and sons will battle for the top spot in the father/son basketball tournament at Bec’s Court. For more information, contact Bob Ickes at 402-340-6539.

The first toss for the annual cornhole tournament will begin at 2. Registration is slated to open at noon and continue through 1 p.m. Contact Heath Wilson, at 402-340-1755, for additional information.

From 2 to 5 p.m., cars will line the streets and be on display. To participate, contact Lyle at 402-340-8571 or Wilson at 402-340-1755.

You won’t want to miss the water balloon toss at 3 p.m., cake walk, beginning at 4 or turtle races, set for 5 p.m.

After a day filled with activities, visitors will be able to satisfy those hunger cravings at Kountry Korner Café. Pulled pork sandwiches, potato chips, baked beans and salad will be dished up between 4 and 8 p.m.

KBRX will be in town for cruise night. The event will begin at 7 and continue until 9 p.m.

Karoke will begin at 8 p.m. at Kountry Korner Café and will end at midnight.

Organizers announced social distancing will be observed during events.
