Orchard seniors set to graduate June 6

In an unconventional year, graduation ceremonies at Orchard Public Schools will have a different look June 6, due to directed health measures in effect.

commencement exercises will begin at 2 p.m., on the football field.

Members of the class of 2020 include Silvia Bode, Chance Boelter, Gage Clifton, Ira Lampert, Eli Macke, Houston Marino, Madleen Reipen and Gage Switzer. Bode and Reipen, exchange students, have returned their homes.

Class members selected purple and silver as class colors, with tiger lilies as the class flower.

“Don’t try hard. Do hard.” is the class motto.

Graduates will have a limited number of invited guests and they will be the only ones allowed to sit outside on the field in attendance.

If the weather is inclement, graduation will be moved to the gymnasium, same date and time, also with limited numbers of invited guests in attendance.
