Cruise night planned for Clearwater class of 2020

The Clearwater Chamber of Commerce and Summerland Advocate-Messenger will host a cruise night event for the Clearwater Public School class of 2020.

Join in the fun, Friday, May 8.

Cruise down Main Street, beginning at 7 p.m. and continue until 9 p.m.

At 8:30, cruisers are asked to park along Main Street. Senior introductions will take place at that time.

Participants are asked to use social distance measures and stay in their vehicles.

Activities community members may choose to participate in include a yard sign contest. Residents are invited to create a tribute to the class of 2020 and have it on display in your yard. Members of the senior class will vote for the top display.

Light up the town with red lights, one of the class colors.

Businesses are asked to decorate windows to honor class members.

Three establishments will offer dining specials that evening. Hi-Way Mart will offer a large single topping pizza at a discounted price. L-Bar-B Steakhouse will have a burger and fries special. The Waterhole will serve nachos and tacos for carryout.
