Tigers finish eighth at Creighton speech invite

Ewing speech team individuals placed in five events at Saturday’s Creighton Speech Invitational.

Twenty-one teams participated and Ewing finished eighth in team standings.

Speakers qualified for championship finals in three events.

Elizabeth Nordby earned bronze in poetry interpretation, while Katie Hawk finished third in humorous prose.
