State wrestling begins Thursday
Rafe Grebin and Colton Thiele will represent Summerland at the 2020 Nebraska School Activities Association Class D State Wrestling Tournament after top four finishes in district one competition over the weekend.
The Bobcats will compete at 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 20, at the CHI Center, in Omaha.
A clear bag policy is in effect at the event center. Clear plastic bags, measuring 12 inches tall, 12 inches long and six inches wide will be allowed, as will small clutch-sized purses or wallets.

In the opening round, Grebin is slated to face Samuel Foster, of Sutherland. Thiele will meet Sid Miller, Anselmo-Merna.
If either wrestler claims a first-round win, he will advance to quarterfinals, which are slated to begin after the end of round one.
First and second consolation round matches are scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 21.
Semifinals and third-round consolation matches in all classes will begin at 5 p.m.
On Saturday, Feb. 22, consolation semifinals are scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m., with matches for third and fifth place to follow.
Finals will begin at 2 p.m. The parade of champions and finals will be shown live on NET and online.
