Nine Bobcat grapplers earned medals Saturday at the Battle Creek Invite.
Summerland scored 82 points, tying Crofton-Bloomfield for fifth place.
The host school claimed the top spot, scoring 192.5 points. Howells-Dodge took home the runner-up award, with 141 points. Elkhorn Valley finished third, scoring 115.5 and Oakland-Craig placed fourth, accumulating 107 points.
Other teams competing included Pender, Stanton, Battle Creek junior varsity, Lutheran High Northeast, Scribner-Snyder and Niobrara/Verdigre.
Colton Thiele led the Bobcats with a second-place finish in the 195 division.
Three wrestlers brought home bronze medals, including Alex Thiele, 113; Rafe Grebin, 126 and Eli Thiele, 132.
The Kester brothers each picked up fourth-place hardware, with Spencer competing in the 120-pound division and James, at 138 pounds.
David Arroyo ended fifth in the 160 class and Wyatt Chipps finished fifth at 220.
Kendrick Schroeder placed sixth in the 152 division.
The wrestlers travel to Niobrara Thursday, Jan. 23, for the Niobrara Valley Conference duals meet.
Competition will begin at 5 p.m.
