Ewing Girl Scouts prepare for cookie sales

Craving cookies?

Have no fear. It's almost time for Thin Mints and Lemonades.

Girl Scout cookie sales will begin Friday, Feb. 7 and continue through March 15.

Shannon Peterson, communication specialist for Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska, said, "As Girl scouts run their cookie businesses, they learn financial literacy, build their leadership skills and position themselves for future success."

Proceeds from every cookie purchase stay local.

Kelly Anson, who works with Girl Scout Troop 00127 in Ewing, said the classic lineup of cookies will be available.

The 2020 cookie list includes Caramel Chocolate Chip, Caramel deLites, Girl Scout S'mores, Lemonades, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Shortbread, Thanks-A-Lot and Thin Mints.
