Reliable, Trustworthy Reporting, Capturing The Heartbeat Of Our Community
A community discussion about legislative issues, hosted by the Center for Rural Affairs, will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Raymond A. Whitwer Tilden Public Library, 202 S. Center St.
Jordan Rasmussen, policy manager with the Center for Rural Affairs, said, “We know there are many policy issues that impact your family, farm and community, and we want to hear what is most important to rural Nebraskans.”
A staff member from the Center for Rural Affairs will be on hand to answer questions about the prior and upcoming legislative sessions. They will share opportunities and advice on how to effectively build and share messages to engage with officials in an effective manner.
“Our representatives rely on their constituents to be engaged with them on these issues, so be sure to bring your questions and comments,” Rasmussen said.
Light refreshments will be provided.
