Krebs tenders school board resignation

After being selected to fill a position on another elected board, Regina Krebs, of Clearwater, offered her resignation from the Clearwater Board of Education at the Nov. 13 meeting.

Principal Mike Sanne said the position would be advertised, with interview of potential candidates planned for the Dec. 9 meeting.

Board members discussed the bond election outcomes and potential items to be considered during the Nov. 20 joint board of education meeting.

In other business, the board discussed:

• A report about a Level II+ crisis training workshop, in Neligh, attended by team members

• Summer moratorium dates

• The school audit. No significant findings were reported.

• A staff Christmas party. Dates will be presented to staff and final plans made once the date is established.
