Lightning fast

Renegades win storm-delayed game

It was a tale of two games.

On Aug. 30, Hartington-Newcastle visited Ewing to meet the CWCE Renegades. As storm clouds swirled and lightning filled the evening sky, officials postponed the end of the game due to weather.

On Friday, Sept. 20, under cerulean skies, the Renegades started where they left off three weeks prior and never looked back, picking up their third win of the season, 36-14.

Wyatt Wagner found success on the field again, carrying the ball 25 times for 163 yards.
