Judges in the Niobrara Valley Conference voted her the top speaker in entertainment speaking during the conference meet, March 2, at Keya Paha School in Sprinview. Orchard Public School preschool through 12th grade students collected $402.38 for individuals with blood cancer and will donate the funds to Pennies for Patients, a school and youth program that gives students an opportunity to collect something as little as spare change to help people who have an illness.
