Ewing farmer Bob Napier and members of the Summerland FFA chapter hosted community members, Sept. 7, at the corn test plot located north of the school. Summerland School Superintendent Kyle Finke notified parents, students and community members, via the school's JMC alert system, Tuesday, at approximately 4 p.m., that a student, while at work on Monday, Sept. 12, "made comments in public that he threatened to shoot up a school bus."
