Clearwater Public Library added a collection of John Deere books, toys and videos, for all age groups, recently. The items were purchased with memorial funds from the Duaine Filsinger family. Duaine's wife, Virginia, and son, Kevin, recently perused the collection, shown by Clearwater Public Library Director Kathy Feusse. Filsinger, who passed away in December 2019, operated Filsinger Repair & Deere Shed, in Clearwater and was an avid JD collector....
The sale of the Summerland - Clearwater site has been finalized. Principal Mike Sanne presented a purchase agreement , for $58,000, to the Summerland Board of Education, Monday, during the board's monthly meeting. Funeral services for Duaine A. Filsinger, 82, of Clearwater, were Monday, Dec. 23, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Clearwater, with Pastor Daniel Feusse officiating. Burial was in Clearwater Cemetery. Duaine died Dec. 18 at his home in Clearwater. Snider Memorial Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
