A demonstration field day will be held 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Bazile Groundwater Management Area’s soil health site near Creighton.     Each year, the Upper Elkhorn Natural Resources District awards scholarships to graduating seniors who live in the district. Students chosen intend to pursue a career in a field related to agriculture, natural resources or the environment. Emma Hollenback, a Ewing Public Schools senior, is a recipient.
