Orchard Village Trustees approved a $6,500 bid from John Prouty Construction for demolition of a house situated at 135 W. 3rd Street when they met Oct. 21 in regular session. Two initiative measures - one requiring photographic identification, one increasing minimum wage - were passed by Nebraska voters during the Nov. 8 General Election.
