    Orchard FFA had a strong showing at district career development events in Norfolk last week. The chapter took 25 members who competed in nine different contests. The ag sales team earned a red ribbon and placed fifth. Avery Cheatum finished 10th. Other team members include Morgan Erhardt, Taelyn Switzer and Larissa Thomson.     Members of the Orchard FFA chapter competed in District 4 livestock judging recently. The junior team finished fifth of 16 teams. Levi Cronk finished 13th with 440; Maddy Melcher, 19th, 439; Cassidy Bearinger, 14th, 436; Dillon Moser, 41st, 417; Logan Mueller, 38th, 421 and Ty Rix, 60th, 397. To be eligible, students must be a junior or senior with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or above.     In their inaugural debut, the Summerland Lady Bobcats picked up two wins, Aug. 24, at the Bill Marshall Classic, held in Grand Island.
