The 2024 edition of the Summerland Holiday Basketball Tournament will tip off Friday, Dec. 27, with championship games slated for Saturday, Dec. 28. Joining the Bobcats will be teams from Ainsworth, Wakefield and Winside. On Dec. 27, the first game will begin at 3 p.m., as the Ainsworth girls will play Wakefield. Adyson Mlnarik has attended basketball games since before she entered kindergarten. On Dec. 8, the Summerland senior joined an elite group as she drove the lane for a layup against Niobrara/Verdigre.
