    Summerland's varsity football team moved to 2-2 on the year, following a 42-14 win over Lutheran High Northeast. The teams met on the Bobcat's home turf, Sept. 16. The game was knotted after the first quarter, with each squad scoring six points.     Summerland's volleyball team made quick work during a Sept. 13 home triangular against Boyd County and Creighton. In the first match, Summerland stopped the Lady Spartans, 25-11 and 25-15. Hadley Cheatum recorded 10 kills and three solo blocks in the match. In the nightcap, the Bobcats experienced a bit of deja vu, downing Creighton 25-16 in both sets.     Summerland’s cross country team was one of 14 competing in the high school division of Friday’s O’Neill Invite. The Bobcat girls’ team finished sixth in team standings, with 106 points.
