    Two separate incidents of vandalism occured at the Summerland Advocate-Messenger office recently. The first incident, which occurred Sept. 22, ended with a broken ceramic flower pot and an American flag, on a pole, snapped from a bracket on the building. The second incident occurred between Sept. 28 and Oct. 1. A second flower pot was moved to another location, flowers removed and the pot broken. A reward is being offered for information leading to the apprehension of the perpetrator(s)....

    Members of Summerland Public School's FFA chapter got first-hand experience in forestry, Monday, Oct. 2. Students added 10 new trees to school property, near the FFA corn test plot and track-and-field areas.
