    Seven Summerland powerlifters traveled to Verdigre, Saturday, Feb. 24, to participate in the third annual Verdigre Powerlifting Meet. A total of 206 powerlifters, representing fifteen different schools from around the state, were in attendance. They both finished the season on the medal podium at the 2024 Nebraska School Activities Association State Wrestling Tournament, held Feb. 14 to 17 at the CHI Health Event Center in Omaha.
