Michael F. Doty, 30, Norfolk, formerly of Page, appeared in the Antelope County courtroom in Neligh for sentencing May 31, on a count of making terroristic threats, a crime committed last June in Orchard. Upon questioning by the Honorable James Kube, Doty said he had only a vague recollection of threatening his sister and brother-in-law June 28, 2022, at their Orchard home. A Ewing man was injured May 19, after a semi-tractor/trailer accident near Greeley. Jerry Wagner was transported to a St. Paul hospital following the crash and then transferred to a Grand Island hospital. The Nebraska Cattlemen Foundation recently announced that the organization awarded more than $64,000 in scholarships to help the next generation of the agriculture industry in its academic pursuits. I’ll keep it short and sweet this week. Someone once told me not a lot happens in our small towns every week. Working from a hospital bed for three days last week, I can tell you otherwise. I have a full page of articles to prep for upcoming papers, advertisers have products to promote and news happens at a quick pace. The cost to conduct business with the Antelope County Clerk's office will be higher, following adoption of Resolution 2023-04-00001, at the April 4 Antelope County Commissioners meeting.
