During the board of education’s Aug. 16 meeting, Superintendent Kyle Finke said installation was completed Aug. 12.     The septic field at the Summerland School is not performing "as expected" and hasn't been since October. Brian Degen, of Olsson Associates, and Jacob Sertich, of Wilkins Architecture Design Planning, met with Summerland Board of Education members, July 12, to explain possible fixes to the problem.     Antelope County commissioners met March 3 in their meeting room at the courthouse in Neligh, with consideration of six driveway permits for the new Summerland school included on the meeting agenda.
