It pays to be a customer with Northeast Nebraska Telephone Company in Jackson. About 4,500 current customers and 1,900 former customers will receive a capital credits payout in December, which will total $4.9 million across the NNTC member base. Congratulations to the Clearwater High School Quiz Bowl Team for winning the first match in the KTCH Radio Quizbowl Competition. The match began with Clearwater getting the first question. They racked up a point by correctly answering zinc as the element with the symbol “Zn” on the periodic table. County leaders spent about an hour mulling six “options” for managing Antelope County’s finances in the coming year, when they met last week at the courthouse in Neligh.
