Steven Snider 1952 - 2021 Steven Snider, 69, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Sept. 27, 2021, at the Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral services were held on Oct.1 at Peace Lutheran Church in Columbus. Clearwater Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department responded to a call late Sunday evening at 406 Iowa Street. Assistant Fire Chief Mark Allemang said the fire was reported at approximately 11:55 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found the single-story home of the Jose and Jemima Mendoza family in flames.
