Trevor Thomson was the lone state qualifier for the Summerland boys' track squad, qualifying in two events. Thomson finished fourth in the 100m finals, running 11.19. The recipients of the 2023 4-H Council Senior Scholarships are Lillian Hoerle and Levi Cronk. Applicants must have exhibited 4-H projects four years during 7th through 12th grades, as well as other criteria. Summerland's track teams packed a one-two punch, May 4, at the Randolph Invite. The boys' team finished first,scoring 192 points in the five-team field. When the dust settled, Trevor Thomson found himself in the middle of the pack, finishing fourth after an 11.68 performance.
