In December 2015, Teri Peitzmeier, of Neligh, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her journey began like it does for most breast cancer patients – after she received a breast cancer screening mammogram. She chose to have a mammogram done at Antelope Memorial Hospital, with its new 3D mammography equipment. Antelope Memorial Hospital's Move it 2 Lose it Challenge, (formerly called the Biggest and Best Losers Contest, ran from Jan. 6 through February 28th. It was coordinated by Meghan Fernau, AMH Wellness Director. A total of 694.8 pounds were collectively lost by the 78 contestants who competed in three categories.
