The host school claimed the top spot, scoring 192.5 points. Howells-Dodge took home the runner-up award, with 141 points. Elkhorn Valley finished third, scoring 115.5 and Oakland-Craig placed fourth, accumulating 107 points. The Bobcat wrestling squad competed in the Battle Creek duals meet, Saturday. In round one, Ansley/Litchfield eked past Summerland, 39-36. Wyatt Chipps lost, by fall, in :28 to Zyruss Fauss in the 220 division, while Collin Arehart earned a 7-1 decision over Tyler Bellar in the 160 class. The Summerland wrestling squad will rely on senior leadership when the season begins Thursday, Dec. 5, in Wayne. Head Coach Dan Roeber said Eli Macke and James Kester are "eager to start the Bobcat tradition and end their high school careers on a high note."
