St. Peter Lutheran Church members are hosting a windsor loin dinner fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, April 1, in the church's fellowship hall, at 230 Cherry Street in Orchard. Windsor loin, cheesy potatoes, macaroni salad, homemade buns and dessert will be served for a suggested donation of $12. Dine-in or drive-thru meal service will be available. A benefit account has been established at the Bank of Orchard for a 2004 Orchard graduate. Jon Allen, son of Loren and Rhonda Allen, has been diagnosed with leukemia. He lives in Stanton and is currently receiving treatments in Omaha. The Orchard class of 2004 set up the account, in hopes to help offset medical expenses.
