Summerland junior high boys' wrestling began its season, Nov. 9, in Wayne. The Bobcats finished 11th overall. Liam Gallagher competed in the 149-156 weight class. Four Summerland music students - Jennie Mejia, Lenora Kester, Raina Krebs and Jack Heim - represented the school, March 23, at Class C All-State Band, at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Mejia, an eight-grade alto sax player, was fifth chair in the junior high band. Kester, a junior, was selected as fourth chair in the wind ensemble.
