    Mt. Vernon Chapter #84 members of the Order of Eastern Star, of Plainview, traveled to Orchard to present 50-year pins to Hoyt and Arlene Sirek. They joined Eastern Star at Orchard, July 16, 1970. Nebraska Grand Chapter issued the pins and certificates, presented by Joan Alexander, worthy matron, and Gale Retzlaff, worthy patron.
