The Bobcat boys' track team scored 163 points en route to winning the team title at its April 25 home meet. North Central finished second, with 95 points and Boyd County finished third with 91. Summerland music students traveled to Ainsworth, Friday, for the district music contest. Of the 13 solo or group entries, performers earned ones, or superior ratings, in a dozen of the events. The Nebraska School Activities Association and the Nebraska State College System recently announced the 16,149 recipients of the 2022-2023 Nebraska State Colleges Multi-Activity Student Award. The award recognizes students in grades 9-12 who participate in at least three NSAA-sanctioned activities during the academic year.
