On Friday, April 12, at approximately 7 p.m., the Holt County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Holt County Attorney’s Office, O’Neill Police Department, Atkinson Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol and Antelope County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant in Ewing. Kizzire, 38, of O’Neill waived his right to preliminary hearing on three Class 1D felony counts of sexual assault of a child, alleged during a period beginning April 1, 2022, and ending June 30, 2022. Bergmann, 38, of Gretna was sentenced to a $500 fine, 10 days in the county jail, an 18-month term of probation and her driver’s license was revoked for 18 months for DUI (.08), second offense, a Class W misdemeanor.
