Christen Curtis, of Royal, received first place in senior livestock judging at the District IV FFA event, last Thursday. She is a member of the Creighton FF Chapter. Members from the Summerland FFA Chapter competed at the District IV Livestock Judging Contest, Thursday, Feb. 4, at Northeast Community College. Of the 15 members who competed, eight students came away earning ribbons, with sophomore member Levi Cronk leading the pack, with a first-place overall finish in the junior division.
