    Summerland cross country runners Kaci Wickersham and Eli Thiele found themselves on the virtual medal stand following Thursday’s meet in Beemer. An awards ceremony was not held, but after results were finalized and emailed to coaches, Wickersham learned she finished seventh in the girls’ division. Summerland cross country coach, Carrie Williamson, welcomed three returning letterwinners and six new runners when practices began, Aug. 10.
