Village board races were decided during the Nov. 5 General Election. In unofficial results from Antelope County, Clearwater voters re-elected Cody Kester and Kelly Kerkman. Orchard voters chose Stephanie Cleveland and John Ferguson to retain their seats on the board. In Royal, Dennis L. Bridge and Duaine Brandt were the top vote-getters, with 21 each. For the 14th time, Clearwater's Big Rodeo, scheduled annually for the last full weekend in June, received the Mid-States Rodeo Association's award for large-purse rodeo of the year. Award recipients were announced Saturday, during the association's finale in Broken Bow. After more than a year of discussion about possible expansion of the Clearwater Public Library, village officials and library board members will enlist the help of Patrick Moore of Goodlife Architecture, based in Kearney, to complete conceptual drawings for the project.
