While the 53rd version of Clearwater's Big Rodeo will look familiar, several adaptations will be in place because of COVID-19 concerns. Taylor Ann Bolling has always liked horses. For the past seven years, Bolling has been involved in rodeo and horse-related activities, including 4-H. Antelope County Commissioners adopted a new snow removal policy when they met last Tuesday at the courthouse in Neligh. Casey Dittrich, road superintendent, presented the policy that he and road foreman Aaron Boggs have been drafting over the past few weeks, with input from Tim Baxter from the Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency, the county’s liability-insurance carrier. Taylor Bolling, a senior at Clearwater Public Schools, was crowned Nebraska Rodeo Champs of America Nebraska Teen Miss, Sept. 21, in Taylor. Macy Zentner, Miss Clearwater Rodeo 2018, was selected RCA Miss Nebraska. She was crowned by current Miss Clearwater Rodeo, Ashleigh Nelson. A 37-year old registered sex offender faced the Honorable Donna Taylor last Wednesday in Antelope County Court in Neligh, on charges of sexual assault and manslaughter of an unborn child. A decade ago, while his friends were off riding bikes, eight-year-old Conner Halverson was riding bulls.
