    Nine student athletes are setting their sights on the finish line. Summerland cross country coach, Carrie Williamson, welcomed three returning letterwinners and six new runners when practices began, Aug. 10. Seniors Kaci Wickersham and Eli Thiele qualified for the 2019 state meet, held in Kearney. Williamson said athletes started recording miles in July in preparation for the upcoming season.     Two Bobcat cross country runners finished in the medal hunt at the team's inaugural meet, Sept. 5.
