    Six veterans with local ties to the Clearwater community found themselves wrapped in warmth, Friday, as they received a Quilt of Valor® made by the Stars, Stripes and Stitches QoV group, based in Shelby. Eileen Krumbach, a member of the quilter's group, presented each veteran with a color blanket.     It was a tale of unbalanced quarters for the Bobcat boys' basketball team, during the Dec. 28 championship game of the Summerland Holiday Tournament. The hosts lost to Walthill, 67-46. Walthill limited the home squad to eight points in the first quarter, setting the tone by taking a 19-8 lead.     The Bobcats were in the win column this week with a good defensive performance against the Chambers-Wheeler Central Renegades, in a 53-20 win. The teams met Dec. 21, in Ewing, in a game rescheduled from Dec. 4. On offense, Keegan Smith led the way with a solid 15 points.
