In their inaugural debut, the Summerland Lady Bobcats picked up two wins, Aug. 24, at the Bill Marshall Classic, held in Grand Island. Memorial services for Delbert “Sonny” Carl Jr., 79, of Ewing, were held Thursday, Aug. 1, at 10:30 a.m., at the United Methodist Presbyterian Church in Ewing, with Pastor Larena officiating. Visitation was Wednesday, July 31 from 5 -7 p.m. at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater.
