A new housing unit in Ewing is one step closer to reality. Village chairman James Ramold confirmed funds for construction of a two-unit duplex, from the Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund, were received last week. Two initiative measures - one requiring photographic identification, one increasing minimum wage - were passed by Nebraska voters during the Nov. 8 General Election.
