    A benefit account has been established at the Bank of Orchard for a 2004 Orchard graduate. Jon Allen, son of Loren and Rhonda Allen, has been diagnosed with leukemia. He lives in Stanton and is currently receiving treatments in Omaha. The Orchard class of 2004 set up the account, in hopes to help offset medical expenses.     A Wednesday evening fire leaves an Orchard couple homeless after their residence, located at 405 E. 3rd Street, was destroyed. Orchard Fire Chief Duane Risinger said the department received an emergency call for a structure fire, Nov. 4, around 11 p.m. Royal Fire Department also responded.     The Antelope County commissioners voted, last week, to issue $3 million in bonds to repair county roads. All five commissioners voted aye to a motion made by commissioner Carolyn Pedersen, seconded by commissioner Eli Jacob, late in an eight-hour meeting at the courthouse in Neligh on July 14.     The Honorable Donna Taylor cleared a dozen cases from the Antelope County court docket during a busy morning last Wednesday, Dec. 4. Alexander E. Huffman, 33, of Neligh appeared without counsel for arraignment on a count of disturbing the peace, a Class 3 misdemeanor committed Dec. 2, in Neligh.
