    The Bobcats found themselves in a classic battle, Friday, in the Class D1 quarterfinal in Crofton and relied on an explosive third quarter to defeat the Warriors, 48-38.     Summerland defeated Elkhorn Valley, 45-8, in the opening round of the Class D1 State Football Playoffs. The teams met Oct. 24, in a game played at Summerland.
