Coach Shannon Schumacher's boys' and girls' track and field teams had a "fantastic showing" at Saturday's Niobrara Valley Conference meet in Atkinson. Both teams finished third in their divisions. The Nebraska School Activities Association and the Nebraska State College System recently announced the 16,149 recipients of the 2022-2023 Nebraska State Colleges Multi-Activity Student Award. The award recognizes students in grades 9-12 who participate in at least three NSAA-sanctioned activities during the academic year.
