Summerland boys' wrestling team brought home the runner-up trophy from Saturday's EPPJ Invite. The Bobcats scored 130.5 points in the 13-team field. Plainview scored 144.5 points to win the meet. The Bobcat boys' wrestling squad scored 146 points and tied the host team for second place at Saturday's Howells-Dodge wrestling invite. The Summerland pony baseball team finished fourth in the Quad County tournament, which began July 7, in Neligh. Summerland knocked off Wynot, 9-1, in the first round, which set up a Friday-night-lights matchup with Laurel. The Bobcats walked away with a 7-5 win.
