Thursday morning, the state committee for the reorganization of school districts approved dissolution of Clearwater, Ewing and Orchard Public School districts and the formation of the Summerland school district, effective June 6, during a 29-minute public hearing at the Nebraska Department of Education in Lincoln. Clearwater Original Board of Education members interviewed two candidates to fill a vacancy due to the resignation of Regina Krebs, who was selected as an Antelope County Commissioner. Randall "Randy" Lee Rader, 62, of Denver, Colorado, formerly of Royal, died Dec. 11, at his home, following a lengthy illness. Randy, son of Bob and Patty (Rodgers) Rader, was born May 28, 1957, at Plainview. He was a 1975 graduate of Orchard High School and furthered his education at Kearney State College. Wagle, 35, of Summerville, South Carolina, appeared before the Honorable Ross Stoffer on Monday in Wayne County court, telephonically from the Antelope County Law Enforcement Center in Neligh, where he is currently held. Stoffer appointed Kathleen Jorgensen of Wayne as counsel but advised Wagle he may be responsible for all or part of the cost at a later date. Funeral services for Duaine A. Filsinger, 82, of Clearwater, were Monday, Dec. 23, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Clearwater, with Pastor Daniel Feusse officiating. Ewing finished seventh in the Class D2-4, receiving rankings of six, seven and eight from a panel of three judges. Shelley A.
