    Summerland Public School Board of Education will interview four candidates to fill the superintendent's position beginning Monday, Feb. 8. Candidates, narrowed from a field of 17 applicants, were announced during a Feb. 3 special meeting, in Ewing. Kyle Finke, elementary principal at Battle Creek Public Schools, will interview Monday.     The Nebraska State Patrol is urging caution in extremely cold temperatures throughout the state this week. Any motorist who becomes stranded should stay with their vehicle and call for help.     Members from the Summerland FFA Chapter competed at the District IV Livestock Judging Contest, Thursday, Feb. 4, at Northeast Community College. Of the 15 members who competed, eight students came away earning ribbons, with sophomore member Levi Cronk leading the pack, with a first-place overall finish in the junior division.
