A pair of Burwell men took the top prize in the St. John’s Men’s Club varmint hunt, held Jan. 18 and 19. Shawn and Tate Phillips accumulated the top points total in the contest, with bobcats, coyotes, badgers, raccoon, skunks, possums, rabbits and squirrels each assigned on the points scale.
