The Summerland girls grabbed another win at home, Jan. 8, against the West Holt Huskies, 43-31, in a game that was fairly close until the fourth quarter. On offense, Summerland was led by Brenna Wagner, who shouldered the scoring load with 23 points and two big threes in the fourth to secure the lead. Michael R. Hernandez, 28, of Clearwater faced the Honorable Donna Taylor for arraignment on a Class 3 misdemeanor count of disturbing the peace. Hernandez, who waived his right to counsel, pleaded guilty and was fined $500, along with one day previously served in the Antelope County Jail and assessed $50 costs of prosecution. The mobile food pantry, sponsored by the Neligh United Methodist Church, as well as various other churches, individuals, and businesses in the area, will disperse food, Tuesday, January 19, from 3 to 5 p.m., on the east side of the American Legion Club in Neligh.
